To the Alps we go! Alpine cheeses are treasures that all of us go a little nutty over. While each of these beauties are special in their own way, they maintain three basic characteristics. They are nutty, creamy and perfect for melting all over everything.  Our cheesemongers have paired them up to create incredible flavor combinations so good you'll want to run to the top of a mountain and tell the world about them (or just tell your friends, that works too).

Di Bruno Bros. Certified Cheese Professional and Mad Cheese Scientist, Rich M. along with special guest, Glenn Hills, one of NYC's top importers of artisan cheeses from Columbia Cheese, for a night of cheesy exploration through Alpine cheeses! Our resident CCPs will have you taste and explore the wild world of Alpine cheeses (think cheese families, flavor profiles, differentiating milk types, and textures). And of course, you'll try plenty of Alpine beauties like 1655 Gruyere, Reading Raclette, Emmenthaler, Comté Symphonie and many more!

White wine suggestions: Chardonnay (buttery), Riesling, Gewürztraminer.  Red wine suggestion: Pinot Noir (New World).  For beer, we recommended sticking to lagers, farmhouse ales and crisp ciders.
