Learn while you eat all the cheese and drink all the beer during our newest event series at our brand new Bottle Shop at the Franklin! The Culture Club beer and cheese classes will be held right in our bottle shop, and will be led by Certified Cheese Professional and DB veteran, Rich Morillo, with assistance from our triple threat—Jeff DiMaio—sommelier, cicerone and Certified Cheese Professional.
You will receive five beer samples paired up with five bites of awesome cheese and charcuterie that will transform how you think about flavor profiles. You can record notes or just relish in the stories that our mongers will share with you. This is a true peek behind the curtain of our expert cheesemongers and their love of the craft!
Class this week is lead by Rich M., our dedicated affineur. So that means he washes, treats and ages specific cheeses to their maximum potential. Rich typically enjoys cheese straight up on a crusty baguette or with pickles and kimchi if the cheese is a stinker. Rich’s favorite cheese is Vacherin Mont d’Or, an inaccessible softy.
